4. Mithra Cave Hotel, Cappadocia, Turkey

Cappadocia is a region in Central Turkey known by its rock formations and caves. I had the pleasure to stay at “Mithra Cave Hotel”, in the town of Göreme and I felt like I was in a fairytale. The hotel has cave rooms traditionally decorated with handcrafts and carpets. The view from its terrace is breathtaking and one can enjoy the view of the hot balloons every morning during the sunrise. The hotel is located just 5 min away from the center of the town, which is full of stores and restaurants. The airport of the area is only 30 min away and shuttles can be arranged the day from the hotel.
